How our Sessions work

Morning

Painting on Canvas + Bubble Painting

Aimed at children aged 6–12 years

A fun, hands-on creative session where children explore colour, texture, and playful experimentation through painting and bubble art. They will create their own canvas artwork and discover how bubbles can produce unexpected, exciting patterns.

This relaxed, supportive session is designed to build confidence, encourage creativity, and allow children to enjoy the process of making art in a free and expressive way. Every child will take home a finished canvas and a bubble artwork.

Includes: All materials, drinks, and snacks are provided

What to bring: A water bottle

What to wear: Please wear old clothes. Disposable aprons are provided, but sessions can still get messy

An allergy questionnaire will be sent to parents prior to the session.

Afternoon

Charcoal Drawing + Watercolour Salt Magic

Aimed at children aged 6–12 years

A calm, creative session where children explore drawing, shading, and expressive mark-making using charcoal. They will be guided through simple techniques to create light and shadow, building depth, contrast, and detail in their artwork in a relaxed, supportive way.

Children will then experiment with watercolour salt magic — a fun, hands-on process where salt is sprinkled into wet paint to create beautiful, unexpected textures and patterns. This introduces an element of surprise and encourages curiosity about how materials react and change.

Every child will take home a charcoal drawing and a watercolour salt artwork.

Full Day

All Workshops Combined

Aimed at children aged 6–12 years

A full creative day designed to take children on an exciting journey through painting, drawing, and experimental art. They will explore a wide range of materials and techniques across four hands-on workshops: canvas painting, bubble painting, charcoal drawing, and watercolour salt magic.

The day begins with energetic, expressive painting on canvas where children experiment with colour mixing, brush techniques, and playful bubble painting to create bold, unique patterns. This encourages confidence, creativity, and free expression.

In the afternoon, the pace shifts into a calmer, more focused creative experience. Children are introduced to charcoal drawing, learning simple shading techniques to create tone, contrast, and detail. They then move into watercolour salt magic, where salt is used to create beautiful, unexpected textures in paint — adding an exciting element of discovery and experimentation.

Throughout the day, children are supported to explore, try new ideas, and develop confidence across different art forms in a relaxed and encouraging environment.

By the end of the day, every child will leave with a full collection of finished artworks and a strong sense of achievement from completing their own creative journey.
